Welcome! I’m pleased beyond belief to welcome you to the 406! An independent and inclusive space in the heart of downtown Victoria bc. Co-ccreated/Co-owned by myself and Maggie andrews established in 2022. We wanted to create a safe space for us as creatives to thrive and you as a client to feel at home.Come to the 406 and enjoy the funky decor and warm atmosphere!

the 406 is located in the Yarrow building at 645 fort street. unit number 406. ;)
there is also a gender neutral bathroom on the 1st floor.We strive to be inclusive to all and with full transparency our sinks are up a two step platform. Can’t wait to see you here!

A quick conversation where we can chat about your hair and your goals with you hair. Can be about any type of service!
hAIRCUT -73$
This is a gender neutral price. This is also the standard price for haircuts for hair as long as mid back. Anything longer may require additional time. You got lots of hair, I need lots of time! I do not offer clipper work services or offer children haircuts.
Dusting/dry cut - 30$
This is a dry cut, a quick appointment where we are just trimming the very ends, No layers are included in this cut. This can also be added onto a colour appointment if you are just wanting a slight trim.
Bang trim - 15$
This is for those who have bangs and need them trimmed, put the scissors down!
Full Balayage/highlites - 325$+
The works! You want all that shizz done! This is one of my specialities. This is a base price, and includes 2 bowls of product. Any additional product or cut is an additional cost.
Partial balayage/Highlites - 225$+
You want a lil something something but not the whole head. This is a half head, has more dimension than a full. This is a base price and includes 2 bowls of product. Any additional product or cut is an additional cost.
Upstyles - 90$
I do offer Upstyles! This is a service that will need to be discussed before booking. This price is for a stand-alone up style not including newlywed. For any wedding inquires please see the special events tab and we can chat !
solid colour - 180$+
If you want to go dark brown or maybe thinking of going copper? This is the service for you. This is a base price, for those of you with thick heads of hair might require additional product at an additional cost.
just the roots - 88$
When you gotta cover those greys or gotta maintain a change of your natural. This service doesn’t include any end colours or toners.
Toner - 100$+
When you want a refresh but not feeling bleach just yet, get a tone! This is a great way to cut any brass, add some shine, or switch up your colour.
Extension installation - 135$/hr
Want more hair? A little bit of volume? Some length? Both? Then lets chat extensions! This is strictly just the cost of installation of the extensions. Hair cost is separate from this price and a full consultation is required before booking this service.
Refresher- 200$
This is the perfect inbetween balayage appointments. It includes a few foils to refresh, a toner, and a trim. The perfect balance! If you are not wanting the foils it can be swapped for a treatment.
